Direct connection to Active Ethernet lines

Fiber optic lines directly into the home (fiber-to-the-home / FTTH) are increasingly being expanded as a high-throughput alternative to DSL lines and are, thus, becoming more available. With the LANCOM SFP-AON-1, you can take advantage of the concentrated fiber optic power and connect directly to an AON network (Active Optical Network) via your LANCOM gateway – and save yourself a separate provider modem that would have to be laboriously wired and supplied with power.
